Negotiations having an jmpoitant bearing upon, a local secondary iudustry which has been at a standstill for a consldefabletime have just-been sue-, cessfully completed, a Christchurch syndicate comprising Mr. L. B. Miller and others having purchased the Bosedala Woollen Mills. ■■'.■■■..■ '. It is stated that the purchasers will take possession on May 1, and that they, intend to install up-to-date machinery. It is bolieved that" onc'el.the. industry, is recommenced .a considerable numbef of unemployed with experience in tha woollen trade willbe absorbed. The mills ,wero closed in 1930 owing to the prevailing economic conditions.
