Nominations for the three representatives on the Wellington Harbour Board of the payers of dues on goods and on British ships closod at noon today. Four nominations were received. - Mr. C. M.' Tiu-reri and Mr. W. H. Price were- re-elected unopposed as representatives of the payers of harbour dues .on British ships. Messrs. D. J. McGowan and Barton •Ginger were nominated to represent the payers of harbour dues on goodsAs only one representative is required an election will be held. This will take placo on May 3 in the Harbour Board Office at the same iime as the other civic elections are held. Those entitled to take part in the election are payers of harbour dues on goods of £3 and upward annually. .'• • The three candidates; elected by the payers of dues are entirely separate from those candidates who aro elected by Wellington electors to the Harbour Board. They are representatives of local firms and companies and are chosen at a special election held biennially. .
