On behalf of forty-seven countries, tho Council of tho International Cham- j bcr of Commerce has prepared a plan. | of fourteen points for presentation to j tho World Esonomic Conference in tho j hope of assisting to overcome < the world crisis. The chief suggestions are: The restoration, of the political policy of the' removal of the problem of political debts; the creation of an international monetary standard; the preliminary restoration of a free gold standard; Government action to deal with exchange instability; balanced budgets; reduced tariffs; payment of debts in goods or services; avoidance of inflation; agreements to overcome overproduction; till Governments to co-operate in campaign to increase the prices of primary products.
