"Evening Post" riioto. A RARE BANK-NOTE.—'An article published in "The fast" recently referred to the rarity of one-guinea bank-notes, of which,'it stated, only three specimens' are known to exist. Mr. E. Irving Rodgers,^of Khandallah, owns such a note, apparently, of an issue different from those referred to in the article. The photograph is a slightlly enlarged reproduction of this probably valuable curiosity. ANCHORED IN THE STREAM.—The Huddart, Parker Company's motor-ship Wanganella anchored in the stream last evening before her departure for George and\ Milford Sounds tvith nearly 250 passengers on board. The Wanganella left the wharf at 5 o'clock for the stream, where,a dance was held, while the ship wa^ a blaze of light and attracted considerable attention from the ;cUy.
