DIVISION FINALS
The two remaining intercl.ub fiuals in the tennis championship were completed 'on Saturday at Miramar;. Jsewtown won the second division men's championship after a close struggle with Scatoun. The icsuit! of this match was four matr-lics all, nine sets all, and a margin of ten games in favour of Xewtowii. Miramar A won the fourth division i'L-qni Kawhiti. The tollowing are results in interclub games:— SECOND DIVISION—MEN. Seatoun v. Newtown. Newtown beat Seatouu by 70 «mcs to 69, four matches all, nine sets nil. Rej siilts, Seatoun players being incir.ionco first:— , Singles.—Bedford beat Scotland, 6-2, 6-4; C. Morrison lost to Xculc, 2-6, 3-6; X. Morrison beat Flower, 6-2, 6-2; Smith loit to M. Ferkius, 0-6, 0-6. Doubles.—Bedford and N. Morrison beai Scotland and Neale, 6-2, 6-2;' Smith and C. Slorrison lost to Flower and FerUins, 0-6, 6-1, 2-6;. Smith and C. Morrison loft to Scotland and Neale, 1-6, 3-6; Bedford and N. Morrisoa beat Flower and i'crktua, 6-4, 2-6, 8-0. FOURTH DIVISION. Rawhiti v. Miramar A. Miramar A beat- Rawhiti by eleven matches to five. Results, Miramar players being mentioned first: — Men's Singles.—Thompson beat Robb, 9-2; Johnston beat Buxton, 9-6; Sissons lost to Simpkins, 7-9; Lochore lost to Fulford, 8-9. Ladies' Singles.—Miss Parker beat Miss Robb, 7-5; Mrs. Wallace beat Mrs. Dunn, 7-4; Mrs. Goodwin lost to Mrs. De Clifton, 5-7; Mrs. Johnston lost to Miss Moore, 6-7. Men's Doubles. —Lochore and Johnston Wjat Robb and Buxton, 9-8; Thompson and Sissons beat Simpkins and Fulford, 9-2. Ladies' Doubles.—Mrs. Johnston and Miss Parker beat Misses Sobb and Moore, 74; Mesdames Goodwin and Wallace lost to Mesdames Dunn and De Clifton; 2-7 Mixed Doubles.—Johnston and Mrs. Johnston beat Simpkins and Mrs. Dunn, 74; Lochore and Miss Parker beat Buxton and Miss Robb, 7-4; Thompson and Mrs. Wallace beat Eobb and Miss Moore 7-2, Sissous and Mrs. Goodwin beat i'ulford and Mrs. De Clifton, 7-0.
