"POPPY DAY"
LIST OF STALLHOLDERS
Many women helpers have again offered their services for "Poppy Day," which is to be observed in Wellington on Thursday next. At a meeting of the executive of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association last evening arrangements were made for the street day collection. LieutenantColonel A. Cowles, president, presided, and there were nineteen women helpers present. ' ■ ■ The following stallholders were appointed:— Bowen Street: Mrs. Bramley and Mrs. Coffin and helpers. W.F.C.A.: Mrs. Spenee and Mrs. Parnell. ' . Kirkcaldie and. Stains: Mrs. Gaby, St. John Ambulance. D.1.C.: St. John Ambulance. G.P.0.: Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Anslow. Bank of New Zealand and Stewart, Dawson's: Mrsi Pow and Mrs. Sol. Myers. Boulcott Street corner: Women's National Reserve (Mrs. Beales). James Smith's corner: Mrs. Carroll and Mrs. Rowntrcc. Vivian Street corner: Rod Cross Society. Courtenay Place: Mrs. Goldsmith, South African Veterans' Association. Maritime Buildings ' and Kclburn Car: Mrs. Hine, New Zealanders' Assodiation.
