(By Telegraph.) ' (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUSKDLX, This Day. Great interest is bei|ig taken in'tho Duncdin City Mayoral election. Mr. R. S. Black, who has had two terms as Mayor, is asking for another two years of office and is again likely to secure the unemployed vote. Ho is opposed by Councillor F. AY. Mitchell, chairman of tho Finance Committee, who is' well known in business circles and is sure to secure a very solid silent vote.
The Communist Party is putting up a candidate who is likely to. take some of the unemployed votes from Mr. Black. The contest promises to bo. the keenest fought in Duiiedin for some years, and there is certain to be heavy polling. Both'Mr. Black nncl Mr. Mitchell have already opened their campaign.
