. Jack Hulbert, with his "acting, singing, and dancing ability, continues to delight patrons at the Paramount Theatre in Gainsborough's merry-go-round of mirth, "Love on Wheels." "Love on Wheels" Is not by any means a oneartist picture, for the assistance-.he receives from . the charming ' Leonora Corbett, -Gordon Harkor, Edmund Gwonri, and others is a big factor In making the picture perfect entertainment. The Benson'will, close on Thursday evening. Friday's big special will be Gainsborough's powerful production, "The Man They Couldn't Arrest," which, according to the "Daily Mail" (London), .demonstrates that "In addition to turning out musical comedies that can hold thelr\ own anywhere, the Gainsborough studios can produce a super-dramatic play which begins where others leave oft." i"The Man They Couldn't Arrest" is an adaptation ,of the widely-read novel by.. the favourite author, "Seamark." It had a vogue as a- book, and also as a stage play, while its success on the screen was never in doubt. Gordon Barker is the.star of a very long and strong cast, of "well-known British players.
