Mr. and Mrs. Pat Castle will leave Wellington next week by.tho Wanguuella for Sydney, en route to England. Miss Gladys. Sommerville, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Deans, .Christchurch. Misses Jean and Lucy Ayre, Mahino, Oamaru, will leave Wellington today by the Makura en route to. Melbourne. Mrs. McPhee has returned to Palmerston North after spending five weeks in Nelson. Mrs. Charles Chapman, Dunedin, left Wellington last evening for Auckland. Lady Angela St. Clair Erskine, who has been touring NeV Zealand, left Auckland yesterday by the Aorangi, on her return to England. Miss Violet Vanbrugh, the wellknown English actress, was a through passenger by the Aorangi at Auckland on her return to England, after visiting her married daughter in Australia. Mr. and Mrs. David Jones, Bryndwr, Christchurch, will leave early next week on a trip to Great Britain. Miss Ellen Jones, their daughter, will accompany them as far as Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. J. Neale have Teturned to Wellington after spending their holiday in the North. ' . Miss Janitta Johnston, Timaru, is the guest of Mrs. L. D. Cohen, Karori. Lady Hunter, Wellington, is visiting Christchureh. ' Mrs. G. J. Anderson is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch. Mrs. B. J.
