Following Mr. Latham's statement in the House of Representatives regard. ! ing .the lifting 6i the embargo on Nevf Zealand potatoes, Mr. Bell, of Tas« mania, asked if it was conceivable that potatoes from New Zealand should be admitted toI'■ Victoria, while Victoria continued to impose an embargo against Tasmanian potatoes because of disease prevalent also in Xciv Zealand potatoes, Mr. Latham said that the Government recognised the anomaly, and thi matter was under consideration. •.
