EASTER FAIR AT EASTBOURNE
" Elaborate plans are being made for the Easter Fair which is being held at Eastbourne in aid of the East Harbour Distress Fund Novelty entertainments of all kinds, fancy dress parades, and all the fun of the-fair -will help to create a bright, colonrful scene ■
Last Saturday the queen contest round which all preliminary activities centre, • was begun, with, great success The queen candidates—Sport, Miss Prances Mather, Traffic, Miss Lindsay; Greig, Britannia, Miss Nancy GiUespie^ and Day's Bay, Miss Jean Eggie-r-held enjoyable bridge parties and dances, in aid of their funds. The Easter Pair promises to be most successful, and should provido a substantial fund for relief of■ distress- ■ ■.'. .
