The Senate late~on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Mr. Robert Bingham as Ambassador to Britain. Confirmation came after Senator McNary withdrew his previous objections based on the absence of, Senator Borah after he had been advised that Mr. Borah had no objection to Mr. Bingham.
