LONDON, March 23.
Wool offered today was 7755 bales, including 217 New South Wales, 543 Queensland, 255 Victorian, 711 Sotlth Australian, 271 West Australian, 249 Tasmanian, and 1919 New Zealand.
Approximately 3551 bales were sold. The market has a firm tone, and there is good Home and Continental competition. The offerings have been mostly cleared. Greasy merinos', Tasmanian, "EA/D," 18^d highest, 14% d average; New South Wales, "Oaks," lid highest, 10% d average; Victorian, "Bonnerin," 13% d; "AS over DS," lid highest, 10% d average; New Zealand, greasy halfbred, "Sandhurst," IOHd highest, lOd average; crossbred, "Mangakino," 7d highest, 5 3-8 d average; scoured merino, Queensland, "Cooibh," 18d highest.
