WOOL MARKETING SCHEME.
A suggestion that all wool grown in Kew Zealand should b.e pooled before classing, and sold on grade and not at auction, was considered at the meeting of the executive committee of the North Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Fanners' Union, but was merely "received." The proposal came from the New Zealand Crown Tenants' Association, The resolution forwarded for considera-
tion by the New Zealand Crown^ Tenants' Association was as follows: "That the Government be asked to inaugurate a system of wool grading, wool to be graded by expert classers at all main shipping points, and thus enable wool to be sold on grade instead of auctioned as at present."
