I LONDON, March 20. The Rome correspondent of the "Daily Express" says that Signor Mus- ! solini accepted Mr. MaeDonald's disarmament plan on condition—(l) That Italy gets a bigger army, allegedly for protection of her colonies; (2) that [ there is a redistribution of League of i Nations mandates whereby Britain will hand over Palestine and Tanganyika to enable Italy to increase her supplies of ■ raw materials; and (3) that Britain : lowers her tariff barriers and returns i to the gold standard at an early date.
