Sutcliffe's appearance in the annual social club cricket match, Poverty Bay, v. Wairoa, attracted a large attendance at the Oval today. The visitor opened with 11. Cave, the .Poverty Bay skip, per, and for 55 minutes averaged a ruii a minute. His attractive display included six 4's and six 2's. After passing the half-century Sutclifre went for a. sporting hit and was clean bowled by Barton, at 55. ■ ■..
