PRICES REDUCED

RE-SELLERS' DECISION

The petrol re-sellers decided at a meeting last evening to pass on the reduction of 2d per gallon made by the main oil companies in the wholesale price. The retail price was formerly 2s 2d a gallon for first-grado spirit, and 2s Id for second-grade spirit, the reduced prices being 2s and Is lid.

Up till the meeting last night, resellers' rates had varied, owing to competition, but it is stated that the resellers are now definitely united on tho new prices.
