ROYAL AIR FORCE
Recent Air Ministry Orders state that warrant, officers are being given increased responsibilities in connection with technical duties and administration, and that the Air Council has decided on changes which include the following:—
The rank of sergeant-major is abol. lslicd, and that of warrant officer substituted.
They will be referred to _as "Mr.," and will on all occasions be addressed by airmen as "Sir," as is customary at present.
_ As to dress, it is stated that the design of the greatcoat is being revised. It will be made longer, and have belt and shoulder straps. - v It is also announced that an Air Force Artists'' Association is being formed to encourage the" study and practice of art in the service, and to hold exhibitions of work executed by its members. ' ~ '
