ROYAL AIR FORCE

Recent Air Ministry Orders state that warrant, officers are being given increased responsibilities in connection with technical duties and administration, and that the Air Council has decided on changes which include the following:—

The rank of sergeant-major is abol. lslicd, and that of warrant officer substituted.

They will be referred to _as "Mr.," and will on all occasions be addressed by airmen as "Sir," as is customary at present.
