AUSTRALIANS AT AUCKLAND

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 14. The Australian swimmers made their second appearance here tonight, when Australia and Auckland each won two races. N. Crump (Auckland) defeated C. Phillips (Australia) by a touch in a 300 yards intermediate scratch race in 3min 27 4-5 sec. Phillips made amends in a 50 yards scratch race; defeating Crump by a touch in 25 2-ssec. A 100 yards ."mor scratch race was won by a foot in 50 4-^osec ■by; B. Thomas (Auckland), 8.. Frankliam.
