BUTTER MARKET IMPROVES
Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd.. have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled : advice, dated March 14:—"New Zealand butter, 78s; per cwt; New Zealand cheese, white 43s per cwt, coloured 495.' .Both markets firm with good demand." '
Samuel Page and Son cable Dalgety and Company; March 14:—"Since our cabled adviqe.of March 9, New Zealand butter is 6s^to"7s dearer o"h the possibility of 'a quota. Market is firm?'
The New Zealand Producers' Co-opera-tive Marketing Association's weekly cabled market,report from London dated March 14 is as follows:—"Butter: Market remains firm owing to reports concerning restricted shipments. New Zealand, finest 76s to 78s; first grade, 75s to 775; Danish, 98s to 100s. Cheese: Market firm. New Zealand, white 42s to 435, coloured 49s to 50s; Canadian, white and coloured, 53s to 665."
