ASSQCIATION MEETING

The annual meeting of the National Rifle Association was held at Trentham last night, ColoJiei F. B. Creswell, of. Christchurch, presiding. Matters pertaining'to the running of the annual prize meeting were fully discussed, and the following officers wero elected I—Patron, his Excellency the Governor-General; the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Defence, and Major-General W. H. Sinclair-Bur-gess, General Officer Commanding New Zealand Military Forces; president, Colonel F. B. Creswell. The vice-presi-dents were all re-elected. -'Executive committee: Chairman, President H. T. Marshall, M.C; Colonel F. B. Creswell, V.D., Captain A. F. R. Crawford, N.Z.M.C.. (Invercargill), Captain R J. D. Davis, ...Z.S..C (G.H.Q.), Captain H. Simmonds, M.C. (Auckland), Captain W. N. Masefield (Marlborough), President W. Mcßain (Wellington), President' J. Dryden (Canterbury), Deputy-President S. A. S. Elliott (Auckland), Lieutenant F. Soler (Wanganui), Lieutenant F. H. Sharland (Nelson). RIFLE CLUBS EXECUTIVE. i( Following the annual meeting of the National Rifle Association, the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rifle Clubs executive was held.
