QUESTION CONSIDERED
PROPOSAL AT GENEVA
GENEVA, February 25. Simultaneously with Mr. Matsuoka's departure for Paris, the League's Ad-visory-Committee, at which Japan was represented, discussed a suggestion by the British Under-Seeretary for Foreign Affairs, Captain E. A. Eden, to create a committee to examine the exports of arms in relation to events in the Far East.. •All the delegates were sympathetic and -promised consideration in time for the next meeting. An_ invitation was extended to America and Russia to 'co-operate in the committee's work.
