An inter-association tennis match between the representatives of Wanganui and Wairarapa, played on the Masterton Club's courts on Saturday, -was closely contested, the visitors winning by :13 matches, 34 sets, and 332 games to Wairarapa's 11 matches, 31 sets, and SIS games. A heavy wind blew during the greater part o£ the day, and there was an occasional rain shower. These conditions affected the play, but nevertheless a, good ; standard was reached, and some interesting contests were witnessed.; Following are detailed results,.
