Cabled advice has been received from the Eugby Football Union (England) that the Cartel ton Club's appeal against the decision of the New Zealand Eugby "Union, -was unsuccessful. Carterton, in altering a decision affecting tho scoring of a try; -The protest was uphold by the Wairarapa Eugby Union, and .this action was endorsed by the 3SW Zealand Bugby Union. However, fit the instigation.-of the Carterton Club v.n appeal was made to the English Bngby Union, with tho result that the New Zealand Union's decision has been pndorsed.
