GRAND OPERA HOUSE.
The vaudeville-revue "Whoopee Nights" provided a fine two and a half hours' entertainment for a large audience at the Opera House last night. The company realises that tuneful singing, clever dancing, "and something fresh and a little bit off the beaten track in comedy work is what an audience wants, with the result that the audience -gets what it wants, and leaves the theatre highly satisfled at,the conclusion of a. show from which it is possible for the most blase to get a genuine laugh. The show abounds with humorous sketches in .'which George Wallace and Billy Maloney appear prominently, ably assisted by other members of : the cast. Ella Shields as usual captures the hearts of the audience from the moment she appears on the stage. Other favourites are Jlaida Jones, Miriam . Lester, ,Ray' Trewern, Murray and Wajton, and the clever acrobatic Diabolos. Whoopee Nights" will be staged for the last time tomorrow night.
