The bride, who, was- escorted by her father, wore a beautiful frock of ivory, satin cut on classical lines, and she carried a bouquet of cream rose 3 and begoniaß.- Her veil.-of lace and tulle, embroidered with Scotch thistles, was lent by;a friend.of the. .Tinde.- The bride..was attended by her sister, Miss Phylhb MeAuley, and Miss Marjorie Harvey, who wore, dainty pufi-sleeved troeks of. shell pink organdie over satin, the Bkirts being fully flared and finished at the waist line with a double flared frill and a large bow of the same material. Charming bandeaux of pink flowers and silver leaves were worn on the heads, and shower bouq.uets of begonias, and roses .were carried.^ The bridegroom was attended by his brother,, Mr. Leslie Brown l?!? I,)' as best malI> an<i Mr. Reg. Mills (Wellington), as groomsman. A reception was held at the Eitz, the bride s mother wearing a navy celanese satin frock with touches of white and a navy hat. She carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers. The x bridegroom's mother wore a frock of cinnamon brown satin relieved with tangerine, a brown hat, and a white fox tur. She -carried a posy of roses. Later Mr. and Mrs. Brown left for a tour of the North and South Islands,' the bride travelling in a Lido blue satin frock, musquash fur coat, and small blue hat. '
