Signor Mussolini's newspaper ■"H Popolo D 'Italia" publishes a violent - attack on France in connection with the allegation hy a French deputy- that a secret alliance exists between Italy, Germany, and Hungary. The article denounces the allegationr as ah alibi designed to mask France's determin-. ation not to disarm, and continues:; "Now we shall know who wants peace and who wants war to dominate the ' world. The responsibility is fixed. Nobody threatens France, . but it it. France who, with her formidable increase of armaments, her spirit of'ini trigue, her ambition, her static: age. old ignorance of the development and needs of other peoples, her alliances, her Press financed by armament firms, threatens Europe and the world."' It is authoritatively denied that Signor Mussolini is the author of the; article. . • ' 7
