SAFEGUARDING PRICES

VOLUNTARY RESTRICTIONS

(Received February 16, 2 p.m.) LONDON, February 15. The "Sun" learns that Britain and the Dominions commenced informal conversations for the voluntary restriction of Dominion dairy exports on February 13. It is probable that the Dominions will arrange restrictions suiting their own convenience without Britain suggesting quotas. It is considered here that the Dominions' own interests, regardless of the plight of British agriculture, will! compel a restriction in order to safeguard their own export prices.
