VERSATILE GREAT STAR

Great Star, who put up a remarkably good performance over six furlongs at Wingatui last Saturday, commenced racing as a two-year-old, and, now in his seventh year, he has been in strong evidence every season since, says the "Press." He has contested over, seventy races, and has won approximately £5520 in stakes for seventeen wins and several placed performances. He has contested events from five furlongs to two miles, and has won over all distances'up to a mile and a quarter.
