NEW EVENT INCLUDED

With the one exception, that the Pacific Handicap, for two-year-olds, has been replaced by. the Champion T\yo-year-old Plate, the programme of events for the Wellington Racing Club's Autumn Meeting, to. be held on Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18, is identical with last year's. It is pleasing to note that the club has seen its way to maintain its stakes, the total of £4330 offered for the two days being only £300 less than the sum distributed last year. • ,■•'.
