TWO LIKELY JUVENILES
The". Inyercargill owner, Mr. W T •Hazlett,; produced two attractive . -two^ year-olds in the Hopeful Stakes at Wingatm last Saturday. They are both members ot the successful Simper family. -Commenting .on the pair, the "Press" says that Sir .Simper, a chestnut colt by l_rand Jinight from Simper, can be classed as one of the best-looking youngsters seen out in. the South Island this term.-He Jias plenty of size and it is probable that he will not be called upon for any serious activities _ until next season. His mate, Kindly Light, is a bay filly by Chief Euler from Simper's Kilbroney daughter, Dazzling Light, who produced Strong Light, the winner of the day's opening event. 6he does not command, the same attention as Sir Simper, but compare's favourably with, him in action, arid is likely to come to hand sooner.
