REGENT THEATRE.
As a debonair jewellery thief of the "Raffles" I type, William Powell scores an outstanding sucsiiccess in "Jewell Bobbery," the principal attraction at the Regent Theatre. The picture is a comedy drama with au Irresistible appeal. The scene of the action is Vienna, the story revolving round «n_ u _name( l bandit and his exploits, wnen he and his accomplices raid the premises of a high-class Jeweller, he meets tho Baroness reri, seeking to relieve the boredom which she suffers from her elderly husband by allowing him to spend some of his wealth on costly stones. Ripe for romance, the Baroness immediately becomes infatuated with the handsome robber and subsequently shields him from the police. A mutual desire on the part of the robber and his victim to meet again is satisfled when the latter pays a visit to the Baroness's rooms. By an artifice ho takes her to his rooms, and the excitement of an escape over the housetops from a police raid provides an appropriate finale to a lively picture.
