The heavy thunderstorm early this morning did not augur well for ,the success of People's Day at the Master: ton Show, but the weather brightened later, and although it promises to be showery all day, the conditions should not prevent the public from attending in large numbers. > Visitors from Wellington were early on the ground, and many others, including the Governor-General and a party of the English public school boys who are visiting the Dominion, are expected later. The final judging.was concluded this morning, and this afternoon there is an attractive display; of ring events.
