NO INCREASE
UNEMPLOYMENT TAX
"There is nothing in it," said the Minister of Employment (the Hon. A. Hamilton) when his attention was drawn today to a report from Christchurch stating that' the unemployment tax was to be increased to Is 8d in the £. The Minister would make no further comment, regarding the rumour as not being worth while discussing.
