ICemal Pasha has vigorously repress* ed a religious outbreak in Brusa, a cityj of 150 mosques, where the Mufti was dismissed and many priests and heads of mosques arrested. An inquiry haa been opened. The ringleaders resented chanting prayers in Turkish "in accordance with Government orders, instead ' of the traditional Arabic. : Sixty worshippers attacked a' Muezzin pray* ing in Turkish.
