STRIKE OF RAILWAYMEN
WAGE CUT RESENTED
LONDON, 31st' January. A strike of 5000 railwaymen in Northern Ireland commenced at midnight. Thejßelfast operatives nave not joined in the strike. The strikers Teserit a 6 per cent, wage reduction proposed by the Irish Railway Wages Board. ' ■ •
