He.is one of the first 'crop of yearlings by the imported Captain Bunsby, a three-quarter .brother by Gap-' tain Cuttle (winner of the Derby) to Coronach (winner also of the Derby and of the St. Leger). Captain Bunsby was never raced, being obtained while a young horse specially for stud duty in the Dominion. The other three of : "Mr. Namoorg's" purchases are fillies. One is a' bay by Hunting Song from the All Eed ' mare Ayah, thus a half-sister to Inferno,1 Jeniidar, and Bonnie Nurse, for whom 50gns was paid. Another is a chestnut by Lord Warden (son of Hurry Ori) from the Solferino •mare-Moisellevythe -.dam; -also of Night Lad, Night ilaid, , and -.iGrolden Sceptre,. : and the 'third is, a bay by The.
