Moss at the Trentham sale and shipped to Australia the same day, the ' Sydney owner ■ secured another yearling, the colt by The Ace from Rose Willonyx, by Prince Willonyx from Barcarolle, by Martian from Grand Opera. He was given into the care of Mr. K. .. Austin, and.,he has. gone to the Elderslie Stud, where he will be gelded and broken in. He will Join the stable of F. D.! Jones at Riccarton about May and y will be kept going through the winter, after . which he will return to Elderslie to spell : till early next year, when he will go into serious training. : The colt was poor in condition at the sale, the result of a long journey, but on /- breeding he looks a good prospect, as he - comes from .a highly successful family.
