Spwerby, of Auckland, who covered several laps with his handle-bars bent after a crash only to have his motor fail on the twenty-fourth circuit. Machine trouble also accounted for A. Mattson, B. Bray, R. Lockett, of Waihi, L. Perry, and C.Goldberg. H. Fletcher had. his left hand injured when he fell and could not continue. - . • Two .
