FARMER KILLED BY BULL
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, 30th January. Fatal injuries were received this morning by Charles James Starnes, aged 55, a farmer, of Haumoana, when he was attacked by a Jersey bull. The deceased was attempting to remove the bull from a paddock when it suddenly charged him, breaking his neck. Death ensued three hours later.
