The first function in aid of the ten thousand shillings fund' to send the A grade bands to the national contest at Punedin will take the vform of a joy night at the Town Hall and Concert Chamber on Friday night,' The cooperation of the 'Wellington Dance Band Association has been readily given to the A grade bands for this joy night, and twenty-six expert musician's will provide the music. The Wellington Symphonic Dance Orchestra will provide the music for the modern type of dancing in the large hall, and a splendid orchestra of twelve will provide the music in the small hall for the devotees of old-time dancing.
