Biddick, Copy Supervisor, will retire ;oa superannuation after 35 years' service. Mr. Biddick has specialised in. scientific terminology and sub-edited -the many scientific : publications passing through the office. Evidence of the esteem in which Mr. Eiddick was held was shown by the presentation of a travelling bag by the Overseers' Association, and , a fountain, pen from th« readers. Mr. Eiddick leaves shortly oa a trip to the Old Country. • Members of. the Wellington * Tech* meal College Board of Governors parsed a vote of sympathy at a meeting of the board last night with the rela--tives of the late Mr. C. A. Lawrence, a member of the board, who died yesterday. The chairman of the board (Mr. W. H. Bennett), in moving that a letter of sympathy should be sent to the late Mr Lawrence's son and daughter said that Mr. Lawrence hadsbeeo. aa instructor at the College many years ago and his knowledge of college work made him a-very valuable member of the board.
