SAFE WITH MONEY REMOVED

PALMERSTON" ST., This Day. ■ The discovery was made this morning that burglars had entered the premises of the Haywood Vulcanising Works in Rangitikei street, and had removed a safe containing £8 in notes and silver. The front door had been forced. The safe, which was of a weighty type, would require two men to lift it. An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal a safe from the same premises a rear ago. •'- '
