The new exchange rate was reflected at to-day's bidding,.and up to &7 per bale is expected throughput. The clip is in good condition,' and there is keen competition. Germany is particularly active for bpth coarse and fine wool, and the French are prominent. Japan was bidding freely for the higher grades. Bradford worked closer to reserves. Brokers had a strenuous time adjusting limits to suit altered conditions. A good clearance was effected, and it is expected that over 90 per cent, will be cleared. . ' ; .
