IN SOUTH AFRICA
ANNOUNCEMENT IMMINENT
(Eeceived 13th January, 10.30 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, 12th January. It is reliably stated that a General Election may take place in. March or April. Every effort is being made by the Departmentl of the Interior to complete the new. electoral rolls, and the staffs have been trebled to cope with the work. The Government is expected to pub-lish-a statement'at any moment.. In*the course of his tour of the Free State in furtherance of his Coalition movement, Mr. T. Roos is meeting with mixed receptions.
