COMET DISCOVERED

(Received 19th December, 1 p.m.)

SYDNEY, This Day. What may be a new comet was observed on Friday evening. It is invisible to the' naked eye, of the ninth magnitude, and its position is right ascension 22hr 59min 13se<r, declination right 29deg 20min. The coiliet is in tha constellation Pisces. It is suggested that it is Temple's Comet, whirth has not been seen since its discovery in 18G6. Observers have been .-watching for it.
