FRINGES AGAIN
PLENTY OF CURLS
New styles for the hair were revealed by British hairdressers to surprised visitors to the Hair dressing Fair of Fashion held at Olympia in September (states- th(S "Daily Mail"). One of the _newest modes had an irregular row of small, flat Greek curls on either side pf the parting, with one or two "kiss" curls on the forehead: But a style which will prdbaTsljj have a great effect, on the coming hat fashions was the one which re-introduced the fringe. It was predicted at this fair that blondes would wear heavy fringes, cut straight across, or a half-fringe on the parting side of the forehead. The fringe worn by brunettes would be much less heavy. -In fact, the darker the hair, the more wispy would bo the fringe. ' Hairdressing styles in general had curls in plenty.
So many honours have gone to British hairdressers that the Continent sent some, of; its greatest experts to compete at thia exhibition,l • -■• ■■
