FINAL DANCE
UNIVERSITY' STUDENTS
The final dance for the 'year of the Victoria University,' College Students' Association .was jleld last evening in tho college gymnasium, which -was gaily decorated with greenery,and many coloured streamers.panoplied from the centre of tho ceiling and trellised down tlio walls. Tho balcony, which was used as a lounge, was also decorated with greenery ana many coloured lights. * ; An ample supper was provided in the hall downstairs, and on the tables there wore vases of carnations, poppies, and fleurs-de-lys. A. good orchestra, and tho spirit of frivolity prevailing constituted a happy termination to anothor,, year of hard work. Tne committee and helpers, who arranged this successful function (Comprised, Misses H. Dunn ; (who wore black lace), J. Dunn (black velvet), M. Briggß (green georgette^,. J. Dun* can (scarlet net), X Hoby (floral satin), E. Cook (red satin), and.Messrs; Diederich, Burns, Nankervis, Scptney, Bradshaw, M. Willis, and Macintosh. Members of the stafi^'party'were Mr. and Mrs, "Elliott (the latter in, pale green georgette),' Mr. and Mrs. Monfo (the latter in floral georgette), Professor . Boyd-Wilson, Professor F. P. Wilson, and Mr. Miles'.
