WALTER BETHUNE MEMORIAL.

It was the intention o£ the Wellington College Old Bo.ys' Association that the sundial erected in the college grounds in memory of the late Mr. W. E. Bethune should be unveiled on Old Boys' Day. Owing to the bad weather this* was not done. It is now announced that the memorial will be unveiled at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Ist November. The president of the association, Colonel R. St. J. Beere, will perform tho ceremony, and Dr. J. S. Elliot, past-president, will also speak. Old boys and friends of the college are invited to be present on the occasion.
