In the House of Commons Mr. Bui gin, in reply. to questions, said .that the maximum increase of 10 per cent, contemplated under the Ottawa agreements in the case of frozen beef would give an additional quantity of atout 105,000ewt to Australia for 1933, and 40,000cwt to New Zealand for the sea,son ending 30th September, 1933. The limitation of the Dominions' exportsdid not apply until 1934. He did not think, that any further limitation of Britain't foreign meat imports beyond the ures stated in the Ottawa agreempnti would be in any sense a departure froi< the spirit thereof.
